Euro: Nearly 12 million viewers in France for the final

Almost 12 million viewers watched the Euro final between Italy and England on Sunday evening, which was broadcast unencrypted on the M6 channel, according to data from Médiamétrie released on Monday.

The channel attracted 11.8 million viewers with an audience share of 52.8%, placing it very well at the top of the evening's audiences.

According to M6, which recorded a peak of 13.9 million viewers around 11 p.m., this is the best audience for a non-French team match, all channels combined, since 2018.

However, the audience of this final won by the Italians after a penalty shootout, did not equal that of the matches of the Blues during this Euro, which peaked on June 28 at more than 16 million viewers on TF1 during their elimination against Switzerland in the round of 16.
