Promotion of Gender: Nasseneba and the women of NGOs and associations grateful to President Alassane Ouattara

Gender equality, and the empowerment of women, which are priorities for President Alassane Ouattara, and who continues to appoint women at the head of institutions in Côte d'Ivoire. It is with this in mind that several thousand women from NGOs and associations gathered stormed the Palace of Culture of Treichville on Saturday July 17, 2021 to show their gratitude to the President of the Republic Alassane Ouattara for the various initiatives taken in favor of Women since her accession to the supreme office. This ceremony was placed under the sponsorship of Mrs. Nasseneba Touré, Minister of Women, Family and Children.

From the start, Ahissi Agovi Jérôme, the first deputy mayor of the municipality of Treichville welcomed on behalf of the first magistrate of the municipality to the women coming from all over Abidjan and from the diaspora for the celebration of this festival. There were artistic performances and parades by women's associations from different regions of the Ivory Coast.

 "I warmly welcome this active solidarity of all here, a strong symbol of unity and national cohesion behind the President of the Republic HE Mr. Alassane Ouattara" declared the Minister, announcing "It is It is a great honor to be chosen the godmother of this tribute ceremony, thank you my sisters ”declared the first magistrate of the municipality of Odienné Nasseneba Touré.


Continuing, "I still remember speaking of President Alassane Ouattara, I still remember that on February 5, 2020, the President of the Republic kindly chose to choose my modest person by appointing me Director General of the tourism promotion agency of Côte d'Ivoire '' said the first magistrate of the municipality of Odienné under the applause of the audience before affirming "14 months after April 6, 2021 on the proposal of course of the Prime Minister, the champion champions once again reiterated their confidence in me by appointing me to the new team that he called mission government, as Minister of Women, Family and Children, what is 'we say thank you, thank you ”declared the Minister

At the end of this celebration, the women of the various NGOs and associations offered several presents, to Prime Minister Patrick Achi, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Kandia Camara and to Mrs. Nasseneba Touré, Minister, godmother of the ceremony.
